Noak Hill Club Champs 2018

June 2018 saw the annual club championship event take place which was very well attended by members from target, field and longbow archers.

Most members shot the American round which is 2.5 dozen at 60yds, 50yds and 40yds for a total of 90 arrows with a maximum score of 810, the juniors and beginners shot appropriate distance rounds to their age or ability.

After a hard fought competition the men.s recurve title was convincingly won by Allan Horne (and his black mamba bow) with a very impressive 758 points from a 810 maximum score available. (Allan commented he actually scored 760 but missed this when adding up)

In fairness the additional 2 points were not required as Alan won by a significant margin.

Samuel Gulvin won the junior boy recurve with Luke Knight coming a credible second at his first club championship.

Jacob Horne won the junior longbow award

Lisette Reed won the girls compound

John Raffin won the gents compound

Finally the handicap award was won by Sharon Lawrence.
